Today I found myself feeling so frustrated with the situation I was in. At one moment I really wanted to act worried and at the same time I remembered that the bible teaches us not to worry. I ran short of money to do something urgent. My mind started playing tricks on me. It played back every instant where I've lent money to people who haven't payed back yet. It played all the instances that I used money carelessly. At one time I wished I did not sent money to my mother. All these thoughts played back and forth in my mind. I am blessed because the bigger thought came and was,
Again, I remembered my Bible asking me , "Has worry ever solved anything?"
The greatest lesson here was, the devil is always by the corner to seize any opportunity to attack. All the playbacks in my mind had I acted on them, I would have made some bad decisions. Instead I was able to clear things in my mind and assured myself that I was going to find a way through the help of the Lord who said in His Word, "I will never leave you alone neither will I forsake you." No amount of worry will ever solve any problem. We all face instances where we don't know what to do. Often we try to find someone or something to blame for whatever is happening to us. Remember when you find yourself desperate, take a pause, clear every negative thought and plant positive ones. Meditate on, "It's going to fine," and most of the time it does become fine. Decisions made out of frustration often lead to more problems. It's going to be alright. God is going to provide a way out in the best way He knows how. Trust in him. Take steps of faith. Give all your worries and cares to the Lord.
Phillipians 4;6 "Don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for what he has done."
