The virus in China is spreading widely by day. Death toll continues to rise. Chinese authorities said on Tuesday the death toll had risen to 106 with more than 4 500 confirmed cases of infected people. Suspected cases are going as high as 6 900 according to The National Health Commission. They also reported that around 60 people have recovered and discharged from hospital.
The deadly virus has now spread far and beyond China. Late Monday, Germany confirmed its first case of a male infected with the virus but in stable condition. Germany becomes the second country in Europe to confirm the virus after France which has confirmed at least 3 cases.
Beijing on Monday confirmed its first death due to corona virus. According to China state run CCTV, the 50 year old man recently visited Wuhan and was confirmed to have the virus last week. A nine month old baby and a 4 year old child have also been confirmed infected in Beijing.
World Health Organisation were reported to have said the virus was 'moderate' but have changed to say the risk is 'very high' in China and 'high' at the global level.

SOME TIPS TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM CORONA VIRUS
It has been reported the virus incubation period is 1 day to 14 days longest and it's infectious. So, it's highly recommended people avoid going out. If there is need to go out then wear a mask and don't repeat wearing it. N95 masks are the recommended for crowded places.
Wash hands with disinfectants and also use alcohol to disinfect surfaces, and other gadgets you might have taken outside.
Avoid contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms.
Cook your meat and eggs thoroughly
Avoid contact with wild or farm animals
Avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands
