Garry Mapanzure is now a household name and he is not short of 'wow' moments. Already an award-winning artist, Garry is one of the fast rising young stars from Zimbabwe. His new EP #Pindirai ( A million tears) has proven again why he is on his own level.
The newly released 'Pindirai' is a very emotional song calling on God's intervention in the presence of hardships. The video is 'clean' and does not distract one from the message. It is a song one listens to and the soul responds. The beat takes one from emotion to emotion and it's a deep prayer put in an amazingly melody. It is a kind of song that if you play during a trying time, it gives hope and just encourages you to call unto God. The vocals are just at the ' Sushi Season" best.
Garry wrote about the song to his followers;
Whatever situation you might be in, this is my prayer. The gift in me is not for me but you all. I pray I bless your ears. God bless the hustle. Only way is up. Sushi Season.
It being the month of March and women being celebrated, Garry was proud to have his mother on the comment section at the premiere of the EP. His mother wrote;
You always sing to my heart. You have taken my soul miles deep in thoughts and tears are deep in my heart. Thank you Lord Almighty for Sushi Season. You will always be my heartsoother. Mom.
Garry replied to his mother with;
Mom, it feels my heart and completes me to hear this from you. Thank you so much mom for blessing me and this gift. Thank you for bringing me into the world to serve. I love you with all my heart.
This was the sweetest mother-son moment that got the comment section blazing with love and tears. One follower by the name Tendai Ngundu wrote; So touching, mothers will always occupy a special place in our hearts. That's the only woman who can and will always make you shiver at the sound of her voice despite how great or how much you might have achieved in life. Shout out to all mothers who have been supporting their children in all their endeavors.
'Pindirai' was written by Garry Mapanzure and produced by Hoffie Jay. It was directed by KMANE and is in the album Sushi Season (The First).
